Championship Points System
Points are calculated based on your finishes in the Pre-Final and Final. There are also bonus points for Pole and the fastest lap during the Final. There is 1 race drop for the 2019 Winter Series 4-race season to calculate the final championship points. RULES REMINDER: Regardless of the number of laps completed, any driver that does not weigh in with their kart at the scales at the end of each on-track session (after taking the green flag) will be disqualified and will not be eligible for any points for that session.
Points Column Notes
- Ties are broken by accumulated main finish positions.
- If accumulated main finishes are the same, then accumulated heat finish positions are used.
- If accumulated heat finishes are the same, then accumulated qualifying positions are used.
SKUSA rule 10.5.3.2. - Only disqualifications in the MAIN/FINAL because of a weight infraction (underweight) can be used as a “drop" race in any SKUSA series.
